Blue Jay – Acrylic Painting

Blue Jay

This member of the Corvidae family, is familiar in most areas of eastern and central North America. A common visitor to birdfeeders during winter and summer, he brightens up any yard with his blue crest, white chest, and black U-shaped collar.

Although a slow flier, he intimidates smaller birds with his loud assertive nature boasts as he announces his arrival — bringing both admiration and scorn.

He displays I strength and boldness I wish that I too possessed. Bravo, little blue jay!
