Overcomer

“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10

Many of you have lived your whole lives “on the edge,” without secure footing. While others live along pleasant meadows and clear streams, you have been trying desperately to hang on. Days have passed into weeks and weeks have passed into years without relief. You are tired and worn out.

But God! Without realizing it, you have flourished in the most difficult place. Against all odds, you have matured and become fruitful. God’s unseen hand has sustained and shielded you in the middle of adversity. And now His glory shines through you. The hard place has proved to be the best place — the God place, the place that has refined, purified, and brought out the best in you. You have not shrunk back in fear, but you have held firm in faith, experiencing full and abundant life. Others have also grown strong by watching and following your example.

You have overcome because He overcame. You have risen victorious because He is your Victory. Bravo faithful, fearless one!
