In another Bible version, verse 22 says, “The faithful love of the LORD keeps us from destruction.”
God sees the arrows of opposition sent against you. “The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made” (Ps 145:9). Don’t fear! God is with you. His mercy flows continually over you, extinguishing the flaming darts meant to harm you.
Rest in His Presence. Humility is our most powerful position as we wait confidently in God. “For the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you …” (Deut 4:31). “He saved us, not because of righteousness things we had done, but because of his own mercy … through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” (Tit 3:5).
